Would you still worship God if everything you considered a blessing suddenly disappeared?

It's easy to worship when life is going well. When there is provision. When prayers are answered the way we hoped. When we can clearly see God's blessing.

But what happens to our faith when life hurts, loss comes, and our circumstances no longer make sense?

Job lost his possessions, his children, his health, and nearly everything that could represent security or blessing.

Because Job's worship wasn't rooted in what God had given him.

If blessing is the root of your worship, you'll worship when everything is going well—and struggle to worship when everything goes wrong.

So what was the root of Job's worship?

REVELATION. 🔥

Job was a man of integrity who feared God, turned away from evil, and lived a life of genuine worship.

Yet Job lived before the Law of Moses and outside of Israel.

So how did he come to know and worship the true God?

Pastor Jeff develops a powerful principle throughout this message:

Revelation produces conviction, and conviction leads to worship.

We can have information about God.

We can experience emotion toward God.

But we need something deeper:

We need revelation of who God is.

Information can be challenged.

Emotions can change.

Circumstances can collapse.

But when you have personally encountered and experienced the living God, something deeper begins to form:

conviction.

Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the Word of God is alive and powerful.

God isn't merely information written on a page.

He is real.

He saves.

He heals.

He delivers.

He meets us in our need.

He reveals Himself. ❤️‍🔥

Jesus was God revealed in the flesh, and the Holy Spirit continues His work in our lives today.

That's why our worship cannot ultimately depend on how much information we have or how we happen to feel on any particular day.

Pastor Jeff puts it simply:

“I can have information. I can have emotion. But what I really need is revelation.”

When we walk through the valley, our emotions may not feel like worshiping.

When questions come, our information may feel insufficient.

But conviction born from a genuine revelation of God can remain even when everything around us changes.

Job had that kind of conviction.

And when he lost what he had, he didn't lose the root of his worship.

So the question becomes personal:

What is the root of YOUR worship?

Do you worship God only because of what He does for you?

Or do you worship Him because you've received a revelation of who He is?

🔥 Information comes and goes.

❤️ Emotions come and go.

✝️ But conviction produced by revelation remains.
